The recent publication by Statistics Botswana, Botswana Multi-topic Household Survey 2015/16 revealed a reduction in the overall level of unemployment rate in Botswana. Unemployment rate is estimated at 17.7% for the population aged 15 years and above, and 17.6% for the population aged 18 years and above. This compares to 19.8% unemployment rate estimated in 2013 (BAIS IV 2013).
